"I just thought I would e-mail you with the details that happened on one of your tours incase you wanted to add the details to your list of happenings.
On Saturday 25/03/06 I was in Edinburgh for my hen weekend and I got some of the girls to come on your catacombs tour. I had already been on your tour the year before with my fiancee and his daughter so I knew what to expect and the stories etc but thought the girls would enjoy it and I didn't mind doing it again.
Once we got inside the building your guide Terry told us to turn off our mobile phones, i-pods etc and explained that the contacts list in your phone can be wiped clean otherwise. We all stood there switching our phones off and followed her into the chambers below. I thought I heard my phone beeping as if I had a message but I ignored it as I knew it was turned off. Just as we got inside the chambers and outside the white witches temple my phone actually rang, I pulled it out of my bag and tried to answer it but there was nobody there, Terry said that we can't get a signal down there and I told her that it was switched off. I checked again and it was actually switched off and I got my friend to look at the phone with me and I had to switch it on and the welcome screen came up. So in fact my phone rang when it was switched off.
I immediately switched it off and carried on with the tour. No incidents occurred during the tour but when we got outside we all turned our phones back on, one of the other girls noticed that her screen saver picture of her kids had gone and in its place was a picture of me taken the night before on my hen night. Also for the rest of that night when I was out my phone kept beeping as if it had a message, but on checking there was nothing there. This only lasted the one night and it was fine the day after.
I think its a bit weird that my phone rang while switched off and that my picture was put onto another persons phone as a replacement screen saver, why my picture and not one of the others??????

"Last Saturday my husband and I had an incredible night on the Ghost and Torture tour. Dom was an excellent guide he sure knows his stuff! The stories were really interesting and very scary. I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want to sound paranoid but I felt like someone was pushing up against me in the Haunted Vault. I looked around but there was nobody there. There was definitely something in the vault that night my husband took this photo from the men's side of the vault. We have no explanation for the orange thing. If you know what it could be, could you please tell us as we are still a bit freaked out by the whole experience! It was an unforgettable experience."
